For children, negotiating the social scene can be one of the biggest challenges of growing up. Dr. Don Sugai, a gifted speaker from the Lahey Clinic Department of Psychiatry & Behavioral Medicine, will share effective strategies parents and teachers can use to help children make and keep friends. Dr. Sugai has over 20 years' experience assisting children with disabilities such as ADHD, OCD, and Aspergers, and is the co-author of Social Skills Assessment and Training with Children: An Empirically Based Handbook.
