NOTE FROM MUSIC TEACHER

4th and 5th graders attended an assembly on Wednesday that demonstrated the flute, clarinet, saxophone, trumpet and trombone. Students interested in beginning lessons on one of these instruments received a notice describing the instrumental program. Please return the bottom of that notice to school by Monday, September 14 if you and your child wish to participate. A commitment to practicing at home is essential for success. The Rayburn Music company will be at the Burlington High School cafeteria on Tuesday, September 15 from 6:00-8:00 pm. They offer a rent-to-own program for new and previously owned instruments. If you can not attend this meeting, please call Rayburn at 1-888-729-2876 or the company of your choice to obtain an instrument and an Accent on Achievement method book. Beginner lessons will start the week of September 21. Deadline for obtaining instruments is the week of October 5.
