Kindness and Science

Mrs. Hoyt's kindergarten class has done great work showing appropriate, safe and kind behavior (ASK). As a class "Hoot" reward her students received additional science instruction.  Mr. Mussleman and Ms. Pavlicek from the Burlington Science Center visited the classroom to help provide instruction.

During my walk-through, I saw the kindergartens studying warm and cold blooded animals. The following infrared pictures are of an owl (our school mascot) and the kindergarten class with Mrs. Hoyt and Mr. Lyons.  The infrared camera helps the students understand the difference between warm and cold blooded animals.
