Today during morning meeting in Mrs. Fitzpatrick's class, her students took upon character roles of colonists in the Jamestown Colony. This is a great way to ensure students are grasping the content. I was very impressed at the higher order thinking I witnessed in student's questions and answers. I was particularly impressed how students backed up their statements with evidence.
