Scholastic Book Fair Success!
This blog post was originally published at www.bpsedtech.org/2017/12/15/scholastic-book-fair-success/.
Our Scholastic Book Fair was a huge success! We sold about $4,000 worth of books so we were able to purchase $2,000 worth of books for our library learning commons. This could not have happened without all of the parent volunteers. Thank you, thank you, thank you!
Thank you, also, for the donations towards the Scholastic All for Books program. We raised $56 and Scholastic matched the $56... so $112 worth of books are going to kids who need books.
Mrs. Hayes 3rd Grade Class
Congratulations to Mrs. Hayes' 3rd grade class for doing an incredible act of kindness! This group used their own money to buy books at the book fair for Mrs. Hayes' classroom library. We are so proud of them for this gift to Mrs. Hayes and future 3rd graders who will be able to enjoy these wonderful books!
